Syncode is for sale…

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

After much thought with regards to the future of Syncode, we have decided to find a new owner.

The decision wasn’t an easy one to make – as many of you will already know, Syncode was the brainchild of three high school students, each of us bringing our unique talents together to produce the wonderfully useful and well-designed applications you all know. We are very proud of our achievements and the release of our three major applications on the iTunes App Store, iTweetReply, Syncopy, Synotes (Slate & Mobile).

However, between school, our social lives and work we haven’t been able to find the time to continue to develop these applications towards the original goals we set for ourselves. We have always had high hopes and we feel that we have not only let ourselves down, but let you, the users, down as well.

As such, we are opening up our doors and sending out a call to find someone who will pick up where we’ve left off, and continue to develop these applications into the future.

We feel that this is best for both ourselves and most of all, for you, our loyal customers.

We are open to any and all offers – individual products, the company as a whole, the ‘brand’ (so to speak) – Just let us know. We would absolutely love to hear from current iPhone developers who are willing to continue our work.

Please contact mail@syncode.com.au to speak with us.

Syncopy for iPhone will soon be free.

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

For those who aren’t familiar with the product, Syncopy allows users to sync their iPhone/iPod Touch and Mac clipboards with the cloud, making it effortless to copy information from device to device. Syncopy for Mac has always been free, and taking into account recent developments in the mobile word, we have decided to offer Syncopy for iPhone and iPod touch at no cost.

The next version of Syncopy will be available free, with ads – or for $1.99 with the ads switched off. Existing paid users, and those who purchase before the update is approved, will have the option to switch ads off in settings.

We look forward to expanding Syncopy into a whole new audience of users over the coming months.
